This program emphasizes hands-on patient care and guided surgical experiences. For participants, this translates to engaging with actual patients, performing surgeries, and receiving a robust educational foundation. Dental Implant Education Courses is designed to acknowledge diligent efforts and provides students with a high degree of personalized support. The small class sizes facilitate significant interaction with instructors, ensuring that graduates are well-prepared to successfully place implants in their respective practices.
The Alabama Implant Education program is structured into two main components: The Didactic Portion and the Clinical Portion. The Didactic Portion is typically conducted in New Orleans, Louisiana, and Atlanta, Georgia, while the Clinical Portion features a mentored clinical session held in Birmingham, Alabama. To engage in the clinical exercises, dentists must possess a valid license in the United States and maintain professional liability insurance.
In the United States, Dental Implant Education Courses generally encompass advanced graduate education and specialized training tailored for licensed dentists. A notable option is a two-year, part-time program culminating in a certificate in Implant Dentistry. This curriculum is dedicated to refining clinical competencies in prosthetically driven implant dentistry and encompasses extensive training in areas such as diagnosis, treatment planning, surgical methodologies, and prosthetic applications. Participants benefit from the expertise of distinguished faculty and acquire knowledge of advanced practices within the discipline.
Option 1 Sessions Date to Choose
We conduct between 20 and 24 surgical procedures each day, typically performing 10 to 12 surgeries in the morning and an equal number in the afternoon, with the exception of Saturdays. Our doctors collaborate closely in a chair-side environment, where they gain practical experience by observing and assisting one another during this immersive dental implant training.
Each day, we engage in a thorough review and discussion of the surgeries conducted the previous day, while also preparing for the upcoming morning’s procedures. The clinicians exhibit a high level of enthusiasm and excitement as they witness their own progress and that of their colleagues in successfully placing implants. These surgical sessions provide significant opportunities for discussion and analysis, all conducted in a format reminiscent of a residency seminar.
OPTION 2
For those who prefer not to visit our clinic, we offer the convenience of bringing our training directly to your location. Our “IN YOUR OFFICE” hands-on implant training provides a personalized, one-on-one surgical experience, catering to your course requirements outside of the Foundry Dental Center.
