The 2024 ICC T20 World Cup Final is set to take place on Saturday, June 29 at Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados. It pits the two best teams in the competition against each other. India breezed through the Super Eight after winning three games and having one abandoned in the Group Stage, meaning neither team has had to face with the pain of defeat thus far in the competition. India secured a berth to this tournament in order to compete for their second ICC T20 World Cup championship, defeating England by 68 runs in the quarterfinal.

After making it to the finals for the first time, South Africa is vying for its first prize in this competition. Similar to India, South Africa progressed to this position by winning all seven of their games in the Super Eight and Group Stage without suffering a single match cancellation. South Africa defeated Afghanistan by nine wickets in the semifinal.
