Orbi Router Connection
The Orbi router will connect to the home network with the help of the Eth
ernet cable but then you can link satellites without using the cables.
Place the router near to the home modem. Use the Ethernet cable and connect one end to router WAN port. Connect the other end to the modem LAN port. Then you can turn them one and link the satellites without using the cable.
Orbi Satellite Connection
To connect Orbi Satellite can you can use two different ways one is via sync button and second is via Ethernet backhaul.
Sync Button
You have to power on the satellites on the desired locations in your house. Then press the router and satellites Sync button to make the connection.
Ethernet Backhaul
You have to place the nodes near to each other and need some pair of Ethernet cable. Connect the ends to the Orbi router LAN ports and the other end to the satellites port.

With Orbi App
At first, you must download the Orbi app from the play store or app store or the official website of the Netgear. Access the app with the username and password of the admin which you can find from the label or user manual of the Orbi router or satellite. You will access the app dashboard where you can manage the settings and features easily.
With Orbilogin.net
The Orbi GUI interface can be access from the computer or laptop as well. You just have to connect the computer or laptop to the Orbi network with the LAN cable or SSID details. Then, go in to the web browser and type in the URL orbilogin.net or IP address 192.168.1.1.
Search the URL or IP and you will reach to the interface orbilogin page. Here, you have to enter the username and password, then click on the Login button.
You will access the interface window where you can easily manage the settings and setup you first Orbi devices.
Tips and Solutions

Use Updated web Browser
Whenever you want to access the device interface you must use the updated web browser in your computer. To update the browser, you have to go in to the Settings > choose the About option > and click on the UPDATE button.

Reboot Network
Make a restart to the whole mesh network in your home with the help of using such ways or methods given below;
- Plug out the device from the wall socket and plug it in again to restart the device.
- The other way to restart the device is to press the power button for two times.

Reset Orbi Devices
The option to solve the issue like user forgot the SSID or admin password is resetting the mesh network. Just follow some of the instructions to the reset the device and then re-configure the network;
Find the WiFi mesh system RESET button on their back. Press and hold it for 7 to 10 seconds and release to start the reset. After the reset process all settings and data will be deleted and you must set it up again.
