Arming yourself in Path of Exile is key to progressing in the game. There is an array of weapons, helmets, armor sets, flasks and accessories available that help players achieve powerful levels quickly.
Unique equipment distinguishes itself from Magic and Rare gear by offering specific modifier attributes tailored specifically for certain builds. These attributes can significantly bolster both power and playstyle of any character using them.
Flasks
Flasks in PoE 2 haven’t received much coverage yet, but GGG appears to have dramatically revised the system. Players currently have two flask slots that can be filled by either Health or Mana flasks.
Instead of offering Utility Flasks that provide Chaos Resistance or Ailment Immunity, Trinkets now do this task more quickly and conveniently – causing much debate within the community. This drastic shift has already proven divisive.
Poe 2 best items will still feature implicit modifiers (such as Armour stat on a Chest) and can have up to three Prefixes/Suffixes attached, but will no longer include utility Flasks that were popular in PoE 1. Instead, players will have access to crafting system so they can create their own Flasks to use in battle.
Charms
Charms are a relatively new feature to the game that add an additional defense layer for your build. Like Flasks, Charms can be slotted into your belt to provide immunity or resistance against specific types of damage and effects.
Similar to Flasks, Ammo Cans also utilize a charge system and will only activate when receiving damage of their type. Each time they activate will consume some of your available charge; keep this in mind as you explore and fight! They can drop from almost any defeatable monster enemy on the map and provide invaluable protection from freeze, stunlock, bleed, and ignite damage.
Weapons
PoE 2 weapons can be divided into various categories depending on their function and combat effectiveness, such as Melee weapons, Ranged weapons and Support weapons. Each category offers specific weapons which make the best match for a certain class.
The game features an innovative Core Set system which makes gearing up and beginning exploration much simpler, providing newcomers an excellent way to quickly immerse themselves into the experience.
Additionally, this game boasts a comprehensive passive skill tree for every class allowing players to customize their gameplay experience based on personal preference.
As in PoE 1, PoE 2 features a currency system to facilitate exchanging items and money among players, with one major distinction being the Auction House feature which allows for trading items between players.
Armor
As in PoE 1, Ascendancies must be earned through trials that test your strength. But these trials differ significantly in that they offer more challenging challenges that could even end in your death!
PoE 2 Armor differs significantly from its counterpart in its first game, reducing damage instead by a flat amount rather than by percentage. This is likely due to how attack gems function – they drastically change how damage is dealt out.
Each item type comes equipped with its own special set of affixes that can be added during crafting, and modified using Currency Orbs in various ways – for instance a Boneshatter weapon could roll the Ice damage affix which provides a flat rate reduction against all attacks. Skills
If you’re searching for ways to boost your damage and attack speed, skill gems could be the perfect answer. They are extremely powerful and can help you defeat boss enemies more quickly – but keep in mind they can only be used on weapons without socketed slots.
POE 2 gear is significantly more powerful than its original game counterparts due to the ability of players to craft it with various affixes (both implicit and explicit), including implicit and explicit ones.
Flicker Strike saw a significant boost in 3.25, increasing its damage effect by 192% – making it an excellent option for Trickster builds.
